Gazette Notice No. 349: The Insurance Act, The Policyholders Compensation Fund, Compensation Payable On Any One Claim
Notice is given by Mohamed A. Sahal, Managing-Trustee for the general information of the public that, the Board of Trustees of the Policyholders Compensation Fund in consultation with the Cabinet Secretary National Treasury, has approved that the maximum amount payable as compensation on any one claim, for all classes of insurance, shall be Kenya Shilling Five Hundred Thousand (KSh. 500,000) effective 1st of January 2026, for any insurer placed under statutory management or whose licence is cancelled.
